About Pati Hays

Born and educated in the US of an ethnically diverse background, Pati  Hays  has lived in various corners of the world for much of her adult life.  This international exposure has contributed to a universality in scope.

The artist’s love of Nature finds expression in exploring the life force of various life-forms, both life-sized and  microscopic.  Working in both 2-dimensional works and in 3-dimensional ceramics, Pati  explores the many forms in which the life-force manifests itself.

The visual interplay between light and dark and finely detailed line and empty space captivate this artist. Dream visions are also an important source of inspiration. The artist attempts to bring the diverse elements of our universe, dark and light, biological and spiritual, physical and metaphysical; together, creating  New Beginnings in a cosmic sense.

As the quiet places become more and more crowded with the noise and clutter of contemporary life, Pati Hays focuses ever more on the microcosm and the beauty hidden in the molecular structure of all living things.  Working in various media, she strives to provide a quiet space in this all too busy world; a moment of serenity in which to suspend time and the almost frantic pace of contemporary life.

The artwork of Pati Hays been exhibited in solo, group, and invitational exhibits, as well as  juried, competitive group shows, in both the U.S. and abroad.
